I absolutely love popcorn. When I was a kid parents would get a tin with the 3 different types for Christmas. You know which ones I’m talking about, they had cheddar, original and caramel. I loved seeing them come home with ones of those big tins.
While there is nothing wrong with popcorn is the big gift tins, I prefer mine a little more fresh and with a lot more taste. The best thing about making your own popcorn at home (and I’m not talking about from the microwave) is you can add and enhance the flavors so much and here is a great example of that. The Brown Eyed Baker kicks up the taste on caramel corn by adding bacon and bourbon to her Bacon and Cashew Bourbon Caramel Corn.
